Richard C. "Dickie" Jones, started this law firm in 1980. He has extensive experience as a trial lawyer throughout the courts of South Carolina. His depth and breadth of exposure to practice in many and varied areas of the law makes for a powerful package of a litigator.

Dickie Jones was reared in Pinewood, South Carolina. He was graduated from The Citadel in 1976 where he was a catcher on the baseball team and the top ranking cadet. Thereafter, he earned his law degree from Campbell University. He has been married since 1976, and is the father of two daughters and a son, and has two grandchildren.

Dickie has been recognized nationally as a public speaker and brings organization and leadership skills to the clients he serves. He is an experienced political campaigner and has a history of community involvement as chairman/past president of:

• Sumter Jaycees

• Sumter Rotary Club

• Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Sumter

• South Carolina Ethics Commission

• Sumter County Republican Party

• Sumter Mental Health Association

His love of people and his talent for teaching and training have served him well in the law profession and in mentoring young and old. Dickie has coached fifteen sports teams, and leads a weekly Bible study at his church.
