Richard Thomas "Rick" Jones began his trial work experience while he was still in highschool when he worked during the summers in this law firm. When he became a lawyer in August of 2000, he immediately began his career in litigation. Before he focused his efforts on family law, he represented clients in criminal and civil matters as well. His successful practice led to his invitation to become a partner which he did in January of 2006. Rick's unrelenting work ethic and the rapport he enjoys with members of the bench and bar work and have worked to the benefit of his clients. His strength and resilience render him particularly suited to guide his clients through the tough times they often face in family court litigation.

Rick Jones is a native of Sumter and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel. While at The Citadel, he was a letterman in both track and cross-country. Rick earned his law degree at Samford University. At both institutions he was a dean's list student. Rick is also a graduate of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute. Rick brings to the firm:
